Persistent Infringement is one of the least understood and most overlooked aspects of our game, yet it has a profound effect on the way the game is played. Persistent infringement disrupts the flow of the game and leads to frustration and retaliation.
US Soccer has produced this CD-ROM presentation, in hopes of making referees aware of this problem and to provide them with the necessary skills to effectively deal with this type of misconduct. At the end of the presentation, the referee will be aware of the persistent infringement as well as learn how to recognize and deal with these game situations.
This presentation was created and narrated by Esse Baharmast (Manager of Professional & International Referee Development, USSF). The sound may be muted should an instructor wish to do an oral presentation using the CD. The CD contains video clips and requires that a computer running this presentation be compatible with Microsoft Windows.
